Gleanings in bee culture

Billiam, as part of his job, often goes in to old houses and helps to gut them and then install all new up-to-date innards such as central heating and air in them. Sometimes, he’ll take me out to see the old beauties and we plot out how to make one of them our very own someday. And sometimes he comes home with goodies for me, such as this collection of “Gleanings in Bee Culture”:

These wonderful handmade (or possibly earlyish recycled?)
Boxes hold a year each ’51-’53 magazines from a bee keeper magazine. And that on top? Some of the panels beekeeper’s used in their hives, from the 50′s as well. What a great find on the boys part!
