It was an absolutely beautiful day today, as well as Ani’s last day of school. We took the dogs to the Trail of Tears for a hike, got ice cream, and did some dress shopping. Now we’re watching old movies – “The Magus”. Candice Bergen as a young hottie? Yes, indeed. She’s absolutely beautiful in it!
Tomorrow Ani starts her first day of day care – ever. I’ve always had family and friends to watch her. Some part of me still feels guilty about her having to go to day care – surely someone who is paid to watch her won’t be as considerate and watchful as someone that loves her and chooses to watch her! But she’s old enough to tell me if there’s anything strange going on and to basically watch out for herself. She brought home a report card with all A’s and B’s!
Also, tomorrow, I interview for the assistant manager promotion at work. Fingers crossed for me, okay?
I was so happy to get to pull out my new/old vintage sundress that I bought a few months ago and I haven’t been able to wear yet.
