If you were a dog, what breed would you be, and why?
Hmm, I’d like to be the type of dog I like. Right now, that’s an Australian cattle dog.
They are a mix of australian working dogs with dingo, dalmation, smooth collie, and bull terrier.
Admittedly, Bill turned me on to these lovable pooches. He has always wanted one. Why? Because of Mad Max. That was the type of dog that young and hot with an Australian accent Mel Gibson had in the movie.

Seriously, look at these pups:
Um. Yeah. So that’s what kind of dog I would want to be. I think it fits. They aren’t genteel, purebred dogs. They are sort of goofy hardworking average joe mutts. Like me.

What does the color purple make you think of?
The movie, “The Color Purple”. It used to make me cry.
That and my grandma. My grandma is obsessed with the color purple. She painted her lincoln towncar purple and her bungalow in the retirement village she lives in. Apparently painting the house was against the rules. They all had to be white and only white. Grandma’s house is still bright gaudy purple.

Approximately how long does it take you to get ready each morning?
Usually about half an hour. That’s with a shower. I’m easy.

How many cousins do you have, and are you close to them?
I have dozens upon dozens of cousins and I don’t talk to any of them on my dad’s side or mother’s side. I’ve virtually orphaned myself by cutting my mother out of my life. And pops was never really there much. It’s not much of a loss, I never knew any of them well.

Happy Feast Day. Those pooches are rated to be the SMARTEST in the world.
We just got an ACD a month ago. We rescued her from the shelter; she’s four. She’s also red instead of blue and she is beautiful, brilliant, gentle and just an all around good dog. And tough. These dogs are tough. She is nice to other dogs, but she doesn’t take anything from anybody. She’s royalty.
Loved your appetizer and your reasons for picking ACD. As for your grandma, she sounds like a few of my relatives. Gotta love it.
ACDs are really really clever dogs and so hard working. I’m a fan of dogs that do stuff.
